I am fortunate to be able to sing a song from the soul using my God given talent. I hope that you associate, through my music, my life's events from my childhood through today, as I recollect all the good times as well as those bittersweet times. The grandparents are gone but their stories and memories live on forever.
Now I am a grandpa with many new grandchildren. They inspire songs in me. My music tries to capture their moments, like playing tag at every get-together and gently holding on to every tender moment of our day to day existence.
Important things in my life are the Holy Eucharist Holy Days and talking about God's family to my grand kids. Talking with them about love and service to others. It is a non-stop reward for just being there.
I still work as a mason and concrete man with my sons which is a family tradition. That in itself has been a gift and I thank God for our working hands.
I want to thank my friends that let me play music with them and surround me with inspiring talent. I want to thank my wife who has put up with the rehearsals and expenses involved in this project. Thanks to the critics who make me improve my act and a special thank you to my producer, Jim Soldi, who saw so much in the music that he made this album come alive.
Now when I stand on the stage singing my simple and true songs, something deep has a hold of me. I will continue to give my voice to the Master and to those that care to listen.
